Bearing in mind that we only stayed at this hotel due to an overnight delay in our flight from nearby Tenerife North airport, this hotel almost made the delay worthwhile.
It had recently (November 2011) re-opened after a 'Savoy-like' refit and is quite simply now world class.

Noisy rooms though newly renovated room due to poor implementation. TV system mostly offers Spanish channels, although English and German channels are readily available in the Canaries.
Beds seperated but on noisy wheels - you wake up every time the other person turns around.
