This hotel was very reasonably priced for an expensive town. It isnt waterfront but a very short walk to San Sebastian's famous beaches. We checked into a smiling staff, when brought to our room it was small but very clean, but we were dissappointed with the view and we said it out loud. Before the staff put our bags down... More

The Pro's - I can not say enough positive things about our very friendly and helpful receptionist, Christina, who could not have gone more out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay. When we arrived in San Sebastian after a very long drive from France, it was raining and we were starving. The... More

We stayed at the Codina for 4 nights in Sept 2011 in a superior room on the 7th floor. The room was a good size with a well equipped bathroom and also had a fantastic terrace with a lovely sea view. There were sun loungers on the terrace and there was plenty of room for sunbathing if that is what... More

We (my wife, my 3 daughters and I) stayed here one night, on our trip from the Pyrenees to Picos de Europa. The hotel answered all our requirements and we enjoyed our stay in it. More

Spent two nights here and it was definitely average. Staff was helpful when called upon, but not friendly. The room was smallish, but served my needs. My room was in the back of the hotel, and both mornings I was awakened by loud crashing noises outside. Garbage route? Recycling? Whatever it was, it was very startling, and in general it... More

We spent three nights at the Hotel Codina. We were unaware that we had booked during the week-long festival, which probably accounted for the higher price. We had a room on the 7th floor with a terrace providing a partial view of the bay. The room was clean and modern, albeit basic. The twin beds were a bit too firm... More

So we stayed here for 4 nights. Love this city, the room was very clean. We drove a car and the per night was 20$ they only have like 6 spots in the garage. There is a lot across the street, up 2 blocks and over 3 blocks that you can use otherwise parking is a pain. Our biggest complaint,... More

This looks like a business-oriented hotel located on the west side of San Sebastian (about 5 min walk from Ondarrate beach and 30-40 min from the old town). There is a bus that goes from right in front of the hotel, along the beach to the old town that costs 1.40eur/pp. There is a good grocery store about a block... More

Good tourist class choice. Reasonably sized room, modern/large bathroom, pleasant staff. Nice neighborhood-- 2min walk to the beach (balcony had an oceanview (albeit distant)). The walk to the Old Town is approx 1.5miles-- there's a lovely ped-friendly promenade so it's quite walkable. Obviously taxis are on hand as well. I liked the beach walk and so had no complaints re:... More

We had 2 adjoining rooms for a family of four. The king bed for adults was two twins pushed together, which is not the most comfortable. Probably other rooms have a single large bed and we got this because of the adjoining room request, but best to check if this is an issue for you. Hotel staff is very nice.... More
