Echoing other reviewers...just a high quality hotel. Excellent staff, comfortable rooms, perfect location. If you don't mind the price, there appears to be no downside. Three nights in early May beat the crowds and this hotel was an excellent finish to our two weeks in northern Spain. Highest reccomendation.

My boyfriend and I just stayed at the Maria Cristina for 3 nights and really loved the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and spoke English very well.
