Traveled with my cousins to Marbella for a 4 night break in early September for a girls holiday. We stayed at the El Faro as it was a cheap getaway. I thought it was pretty decent for a 3 star. We got a large clean room with 3 single beds, dining table, kitchenette (no kettle but had pans, plates and... More

We stayed at the El Faro hotel for a long weekend. We understood that this is a 3star hotel so wasn't expecting too much. The hotel reception is nice and the room was spacious however the view from the balcony was a uncompleted car park which was not a pleasant view. The breakfast was dissapointing just cereals bread and concentrate... More

Im not sure about the other reviews, but for marbella - you should expect more. . . I stayed for 6 nights, at a great bargain rate of about £70 per night. but I soon learned that for another £20 per night you could have so much more - if you stayed elsewhere. And I think it would have been... More

I have just returned from a lovely holiday/business trip in El Faro. The appartments are very basic and the kitchen area is only tiny but my daughter and I are dancers so were thrilled to find ourselves next door to an excellent Flamenco school! The pool is clean and the beach is lovely. We would definitely return but dont expect... More

This Hotel was great value for money and perfectly situiated in heart of Marbella a stones throw from Beach and the Old Town. Rooms very comfortable with kitchenette and fridge too. Car parking was available at small additional chrage beneath hotel but travellers should note only suitable for small/medium cars. More

Very comfortable, clean, large rooms in a very centrally located hotel in Marbella. Great value for money with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is included in the rate, and is not up to much, so we slept in most mornings and had lunch at Cynthias Bar across the street, which is lovely. Would definitely stay here again. More

Really good hotel, rooms were good, with a small kitchenette. Located 1 minutes away from the beach, is an ideal place to use as a base. The pool area was fine until 3/4pm and then you lost the sun, which meant there was not many people around it. But being so close to the beach it did not matter too... More

Its good value and I liked the fridge in the room so we could keep nibbles and fizzy water cool. More
