Good location, right in downtown, good value for money, good breakfast. But why wifi has to be paid, especially for a hotel targeting business travellers (or maybe because of that?). My room faced the main street and it was noisy in the early morning - garbage trucks, etc.

The entrance to the hotel is very uninspiring ( off a shopping centre ). However rooms make up for it ! We were given very large suite like rooms - separating the adults from the children with a 'wall' and their own tv. Hotel full of football fans yet very peaceful and no noise. Location good. Staff good. Rooms good. Breakfast good. Wifi €9 per 24 hours per device. i.e. €18 for phone and tablet. Complete rip off in this day and age. Would reconsider not staying there in future as I object to being ripped off!

A business hot in a excellent location in central Dortmund. The hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the railway station and access to restaurants and bars is plentiful. The rooms are well appointed and clean. Let down by the high cost of internet access.

Great location, room very well appointed, all pretty good except he wifi. iPad wouldn't even pick it up. Laptop had 2 bars out of 5 which meant it was painfully slow. Shame because otherwise it's fine. But message to the Mercure management 'have you never heard of Apple products or WiFi?'. Get it sorted and ill add another star.

Booked this hotel through booking.com. Got an upgrade to a suite upon arrival. Great looking room, with all the stuff you nerd in a hotelroom. Close to downtown Dortmund.
