The room was small and dark. No house-shoes, no coffee or teamaker in the room, two small and to soft pillows in the bed, breakfast was like in a two-stars hotel, The price - 129,00 Euro- was to much for such an service.

I was in Dortmund on business, mid-December, and had a special rate negotiated by the company I was visiting (75 euro/night). The Steigenberger is a short taxi ride from the train station. The hotel is nice. People are courteous and prices are good. Decent comfort for a decent price. BUT... What bothers me, however, is that they charge 10EUR per 2 hours for internet access. Are these people living in the 21st century?? Why won't they charge EUR 10 per night more (per room) and make internet free? They would be ahead... More

Stayed here on the final night of an eleven day tour of Germany and Switzerland, for the opening night of the Dortmund concert season. Nice, stylish hotel and was allocated a double room on the 5th floor. Room nicely appointed and plenty of space.
