It's no longer a Sofitel... Now part of MGallerie hotels. Very long waiting time for check-in and check-out, only one employee for everything to do on both days. Incredible slow lift and long waiting time. Very very small room! Nice lobby and excellent breakfast.

Hotel is clean, service is attentive. Rooms are on the smallish side, but one does not go to a hotel to stay in the room. Excellent value for money given the location of the hotel. Very close to cathedral and train station. Close to the Rhine to go for a walk. Extremely convenient.

I came for apsn show, in fact i go to cologne every march for a week long here, i found this hotel in a great location, Next to main station, main shopping street and Dom, all could be reached by foot in 5minutes. I will stay again next year
