Reasonably priced, no frills Hotel offering small, and quiet rooms facing the back. It was not very clean though. Hairs in the shower and mold growing in some areas on the grout/caulk. Got in late and parked car right next to front door. Ok overall for the budget traveler but will not return.

Small but clean room, old but clean bathroom, convenient location next to the train station (but if you're arriving by train, make sure it's to this station - Kassel has two). Helpful front desk staff. It annoys me when hotels want to charge guests for wifi, but otherwise I have no complaints.

For a reasonable price one gets fairly sized and always clean room, fantastic view on the station in front and staff ready to assist in anything. The breakfast is a bit over-valued but we were offered a free pass for buses and trams for all the days of our stay! There can be no more convenient hotel in Kassel!

I have to agree with most people here, the Intercity Hotel in Kassel is simple but adequate. The best things about it is that it's right next to the ICE (long-distance trains) station. Also very close to the fantastic Wilhelmshohe park and water fountains. The hotel gives you a free day ticket for the local buses and trains.
