I was in this hostel last summer (august 2012) and I never stayed in a hostel with such a rude and unfriendly staff. The rooms were nice and modern, but that's all. Its not in a great part of frankfurt (but near the trainstation) the only people walking by are junks and prostitues..

Close the the Hauptbahnhof, but that is the only benefit. I have a few complaints: 1) there is no way to shower privately. Just come out of the BahnHof three S-Bahn stations from the airport and walk a few blocks next to the McDonald's. Everything is sleek and modern and clean. You need to use your key card to get through every door and it's total civilization here after being in the Middle East for five weeks.
