I stayed in a mixed dorm with my girlfriend for four nights and it was a great place. We met lots of other travelers, especially during happy hour when drinks are just one euro each! And it isn't just crappy beer either but a selection of decent drinks. Although we didn't use it the kitchen was very clean and well... More

I stayed in one of the larger rooms for 8 people. There were two bunker beds and the rest normal. All beds had a reading light and sockets nearby. Staff was just perfect, happily providing all the info needed. I took the free (tip based) brewer's tour which picks people at the reception every day around noon, no reservations necessary... More

I have dietary needs that require preparing all of my own meals. This hostel was the ideal experience. I so appreciated the cleanliness of the kitchen as well as how organized it was. The refrigerator was huge, and I was able to use an entire shelf for all of my food. Labels were provided. There was also a pantry wall... More

The hostel is in a good location, very close to a metro station. There are also some nice restaurants in the area. The rooms were clean and fairly big. There are two shared bathrooms available to use on each floor, which could have been cleaned more regularly. But otherwise we didn't have any problems. The wifi also worked really well... More

There are so many amazing things about this hostel, I'm just going to list them as they come to me, no particular order: - Happy hour! A good bottled lager about a pint in size (half litre or more) is only 1 euro from 8 til 10 - amazing! - The kitchen facilities had everything you could need, including spacious... More

I stayed here in an 8-bed dorm for three nights at the end of April and was impressed literally from the moment I walked in the door. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, with superb local knowledge. The rooms were fantastic quality and the beds very comfortable (though those who aren't used to them may struggle slightly with the... More

If you are looking for a nice hostel in Prenzlauer Berg, this is a good choice. This place is cheap, clean, the staff is friendly, and you'll have everything you need. Maybe the idea of shared bathrooms isn't that appealling, but there are several ones, so you don't have to wait, and they are perfectly clean. The hostel is close... More

I stayed at EastSeven for three nights early April and had an amazing time. From the moment we set foot in the hostel, it was clear it had been optimised for the best travelling experience possible. The facilities are outstanding. Comfortable beds, thick walls which allow you to get a good night's rest, proper showers (a rarity in European travels)... More

My time here was the best I had during my 2 months travelling around Europe. I had great people in my dorm and it was also easy to meet people in the common area/kitchen. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. You can get your washing done, cheap coffee and beer, and an excellent guide to the city. Perfectly located... More

No downside at this hostel. Located close to the U-bahn, which connects you to any spot in Berlin. Staff is really friendly, helpful and they run their stuff efficiently. Rooms and bathrooms are spotless, and the HotSplots operated WiFi is free. Definitely recommended. Neighborhood is fine too, quite, and some good restaurants around the corner.
