The Loft Berlin offers two unique studio apartments located in Hackerschermarkt, Mitte - right in the center of East Berlin. The building is occupied by an eclectic mix of hipster locals and former GDR citizens, and was built in 1967 for the highest members of the GDR government. Rosa: Rosa is our premium room named after the philosopher and humanist Rosa Luxemburg who fought for working class rights on the streets below during the first world war. With a kitchen and raised seating platform, this 25 sq. m studio is extremely comfortable for a short or long visit to explore this fascinating city which has acted as a melting pot for idealism and political extremes for over a century. Marlene: This 20 sq.m boutique studio is named after arguably the most glamorous woman to emerge from Berlin in the past century, Marlene Dietrich, a true Berliner. With laquered exposed concrete walls and chandeliers, Marlene captures the essence and extravagance of the roaring 1920s cabaret era with a twist of shabby chic. The Loft Berlin is an ideal location for couples coming to visit for a short break or even the soloist looking for an interesting and unique experience in this vibrant and edgy city. Situated directly next to Hackerscher Markt station and a 5 minute walk from Alexanderplatz station. The Loft Berlin is right in the middle of it all.
