Pretty much as you would expect a Westin to be, only the cleanliness in the bathroom let the hotel down a bit. Pool is on the small side and round in shape, so not very suitable for an extensive morning swim.

Recently stayed at the Westin Berlin during the New Years holiday for 4 nights. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Some of the highlights include, great location, tremendous service, breakfast buffet. Can't point to anything negative. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is indeed grand - I loved the lobby design - a mix of old world and contemporary styles. The hotel is in a fabulous location, 5-10 minutes walking from the Brandenburg Gates, super close to the metro system making it easy to get around the city, and right near a stop for the double decker sight seeing buses....

nice hotel but impatient staff with little motivation to please customers. we checked in and they did not have our booked room available, basically made us pay extra to upgrade. neither the westin or spg seemed to mind this was out of the ordinary when we tried to argue this. the concierge was impatient with our questions.
