I know the Accor group of hotels well and with an Ibis you expect a basic clean hotel which this was. There was a fair on in Nuremberg at the time and this was the only hotel I could get. Very convenient location close to old downtown, railway station and bus station. Wide and clean room (we were three people). Cheap prices, especially if you do not include breakfast and parking. Atmosphere is not particularly attractive, but if you choose Ibis you are not looking for traditional furniture or high design interiors... Recommended. More

The hotel is not really bad, but worst that another Ibis hotels. Repair is old, TV is old, walls are dirt somewhere, it was definatrely not refreshed a long time. But everything other is good as always in Ibis. More

The location was great right next to the train station and at the entrance of the historic district. The hotel was nice, however the bed was a little hard, the t.v. did not have international channels, and the bathroom was a tiny. More

It's tiny, but served its purpose -- to give us a place to stay near the Nurnberg train station. It was convenient, clean and had a nice desk area by the window with lots of plugs. If you like a washcloth, take one with you. If you like sleeping under a top sheet, take one with you. The bathroom shower... More

Somewhere to sleep & shower in relative comfort, not necessarily somewhere to spend time. My room was too warm to sleep with the window closed, but the traffic noise was too loud to sleep with it open. More

I stayed for three nights in the Ibis Nurenberg City and found it to be a very comfortable place. The staff were most friendly and helpful. The Buffet breakfast was most enjoyable with an excellent selection og food. The Ibis is located in a most cretral position, perfect for visiting the city on foot. More
