I selected this hotel for its location five minutes from the main train station, accessed directly from the airport - and was also attracted by the photos of the extraordinarily OTT canopied bed! Nice central location just north of the Hauptbahnhof which is the main train station in munich. The hotel is about a ten minute walk into the heart of the city and about the same dustance to the theresenwiese where the Octoberfest is held. Very friendly and multilingual staff at reception.
