Basic functional hotel adequate for a one night stopover if no other options. The building was probably stylish 40 or 50 years ago but it has never been updated and had not retained any benefit of old world charm. Breakfast was fine and the staff were willing.

Good value, clean, super convenient, especially if you have heavy luggage. Great breakfast with delicious reisling sekt and automatic espresso machine at your disposal. Staff were very nice. Rooms have large flat screen TV with plenty of channels. Reasonably quiet, good views. Request for extra pillows met quickly and graciously. Bed was a little soft. I will stay here again.

Garmish-Partenkirchen is a beautiful, charming town. This hotel chosen by the tour guide served its purpose but is worn and tired looking. Tell-tale stale old cigarette smoke odor.
