We stayed in Gasthaus Auerhahn for 1 night before driving through the Black Forest to visit Triberg, the cuckoo clock town. We had a nice experience here and had dinner and beers in their Bier Garten which covered by huge beautiful trees. Parking is available right next to the hotel and there is a nice breakfast buffet. Our room was... More

We booked one night at Gasthaus Auerhahn for a quick visit to Baden Baden, after visiting the Black Forest and before leaving Germany via the Frankfurt airport the following day. The Gasthaus is on the Black Forest highway (Schwarzwaldhochstrasse) just outside of Baden Baden, about a 15 minute drive from sights in the city center. We had a rental car... More

We stayed here on our trip to Baden Baden because of the ease of parking. It is located fairly off the beaten path in the hills about 15 minutes from Baden Baden, so you would not want to stay here without a car. Parking was plentiful with three different lots. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very traditional Bavarian... More

We spent one night at the Auerhahn and thoroughly enjoyed it. We wanted to see Baden-Baden, but were very glad to come back up into this charming mountain town at the end of the day! Rooms are clean and comfortable, redone sometime in the 90s, but kept up well. Friendly staff who worked with our little German with ease, and... More

We stayed here for two nights on our trip around Europe. The hotel was very clean and the service was excellent. The room was superb. The only thing that could be criticised is that there is no air conditioning and it is very warm in the summer. I would suggest that for the value, you could not complain. The hotel... More

First you have to know that this place in not in Baden-Baden. It is in next town. So to get to downtown you have to take a bus (15min). We didn't have a car so we were disspointed with the location. There is also nothig around that place besides a gas station. But, the hotel itself is great - they... More

The auerhahn is extremely friendly, clean, quiet and with a myriad of high quality services. For the price, which is very low and the cheapest we paid on this holiday, it was by far the best place we stayed. Room very clean, balcony overlooking the forests, bathroom small but clean. The real gem of this place os the beer garden... More

We stayed here for a week and were made to feel very welcome (we had to extend our stay and the management couldn't have been more helpful during what was a busy period for the hotel). Location was fabulous being a short drive into Baden-Baden and right on the edge of the Balck Forest - my wife loved the 30... More

My wife and I stayed one night and wish we could have stayed longer. This hotel is a short distance by car from the center of town. It is a new and modern hotel. We ate at the hotel restaurant and had a good German meal. The breakfast was good. We were pleasantly surprised on how nice it was. I... More
