I stayed by myself in Nice for a week, and had made reservations at this hotel to stay in the 10 person dorm. Upon arrival, the man at the desk seemed to have taken a liking to me, seeing as he said he had a surprise for me, and upgraded my dorm to a private single room for no extra... More

The hostel staff is very welcoming, especially that one guy who is probably the owner of that place. The rooms were not very clean and the bathrooms were not cleaned everyday. The maids would also just pop out of nowhere at 9 am and start ccleaning the rooms.... There are some kind of cage-lockers you can use to store your... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in Hotel Baccarat for 3 nights in a 6-bed dorm. The room was very cramped for 6 adults and it could nearly hold all our backpacks and luggages. They had an attached toilet which was decently clean but equally cramped. The internet connection down in the common area is quite inconsistent so don't count it... More

It was a great place to meet people and everyone was friendly. Staff was very helpful. It's close enough to walk to the beach (15-20 minutes). Free champagne was handed out our first night and 1 euro pasta and wine for the second night (they just dumped the pasta on and you got heaps.. Plus refills of wine!) bathroom is... More

this hostel was nice, the staff was friendly and helpful and want you to be safe when going out. The rooms were clean and had washroom access in the rooms. It was also attached to another hostel and shared a common outdoor area that made it easier to meet more people. There were a lot of young people at the... More

Great hostel. Clean and simple rooms. Showers a bit to small. Incredibly nice staff, a very nice "chill out room" where you can put music. If you find the hotel staff in a good mood, they will serve unlimited sparkling white wine. I would really recommend it to anyone looking for a nice time in Nice. More

This was a great hostel! One of the nicest hostels I have seen in Europe. They have a beautiful court yard and a great "chill out room." We had an amazing stay and have not been treated so well by staff. This is a great hostel and has a great location! I highly reccommend it. More

The hotel/hostel is located within walking distance from the train station , main attractions(Historic Township, Morning markets and Squares) and the beautiful beaches. If you are on a bugeted trip or does want to spend too much on stuff like transportation and food, this is the right place for you. The Hotel/Hostel comes with a kitchen and a Chilling room... More

Really nice communal area but not a great atmosphere. Kitchen was locked for the night at 9pm and we weren't told until too late. Strange cramped bathroom in dorm with two showers and toilet dumped into one room. Lots of street noise. A bit chaotic. Ridiculously expensive for what you got. More

my overall review of this place is dodgy! I have been travelling for 4 months in hostels all over Europe and this place has been the worst by far, hence I felt the need to advise other travellers to avoid this place. This "hotel" is very expensive for the services you receive and the quality of the rooms, such as... More
