An excellent hotel close to the railway station and 20 min walk from the beach. Room clean, staff friendly, breakfast adequate. We travel extensively around the world in all sorts of accommodation and frankly the Medicis was dismal and only deserves a 1 star rating. The room was hot and pokey small. The staff were generally disinterested and unhelpful and the place was dirty. I have seen much cleaner and better run backpacker centers. More
