We loved this place, would have been happy to stay here much longer. Firstly, the young staff are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking in the property. The rooms are a really good size and design - kitchenette was separate to the bed area, good sized bathroom. Split system aircon/heating as well as a normal wall-unit electric/water heater. Nice... Kimi Residence is an apartment hotel just outside the centre of Cannes, across from the main road about 20 mins walk from the Rue D'Antibes at the back of the Grand Hotel. It's a quiet and friendly place run by a couple from Iceland and they are very laid back and accommodating. The Residence is an attractive building in an... More

It was a really nice place to stay in Cannes. we traveled as a group of 7, so we booked 1 apartment for 4 persons and a studio suite with a double bed and an auxiliary one. The apartment was really dreamy,..a wonderful balcony with a view to a nicely kept garden. The studio was much smaller, but also very... More

The room was small. We didnt have much space to move in the room when we have 2 luggages. The room just very simple. No feel for relaxing. But it cost euro120 was too much. The reception and the bar is small. Not as shown on the website photos. They put the laundry clothes in the lobby...seemed like a hostel.... More

Kimi residence is a very good solution If you like that kind of staying. It isn’t a hotel but the only thing that separates from a hotel is that they do not serve breakfast and that they didn’t have a 24 hours reception otherwise it is the same as a hotel but with a very small price. Even that the... More

We were very pleased to have the privilege of staying at Kimi Residence during the Cannes Film Festival. Walking to the festival took about 20-25 minutes with ~2 bakeries on the way for grabbing a snack. The in-room kitchen saved us a lot of money. The owners showed us how to find groceries which was very helpful. There is a... More

The Icelandic people running the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. They made us feel like home. The hotel rooms are all well equipped with a kitchenette to make your own food and air conditioning for those hot summer days. Everything in the room was clean and our room was even cleaned during our stay without us asking for it.... More

Coffee/tea facilities are provided along with cooking utensils The bathroom was fairly large (with hot towel rack) and the bedroom was air-conditioned Wi-fi connection quite reliable too (accessible from the room) However, there was no a/c in the lounge - In the summer it can be quite hot (especially if you have 4 ppl since a sofa bed is provided).... Very happy with the quality of this B&B. I checked in during the first weekend of the Cannes Film Festival and therefore expected to pay a premium. Still, it was far more reasonable than most of the hotels situated closer to the festival. Anyone calling this a glorified hostel clearly needs to get their head checked up. For a hotel,... More

We arrived after several hours driving on Italy's autostrade in a car with no air conditioning on a hot day. When we arrived Jon checked us in quickly and showed us to our room on the third floor. He spoke English really well and was able to tell us where to find the local supermarket, how to get to the... More
