This hotel is very good value, comfortable and within reasonable walking distance (~10 min) to the historic center of Aix. The front desk staff was very helpful and attentive, on one occasion negotiating free transportation with a cab that had been delayed. Overall very friendly atmosphere. Air conditioning in rooms is a plus during summer. More

Nice place, but very hard mattresses! Pillows were the round bolster type and odd to sleep on. The staff was nice and location fine. I would not stay there again because of the beds. More

Spent 3 nights at this hotel in September 2011. As others have noted, the hotel is a little tired decor-wise, but it was a clean, comfortable place to sleep.
