This hotel is located next to the highway where the noise from the trucks is impossible. The rooms are so small you cannot open two suitcases. The reception staff is not helpful and certainly not knowledgeable for the city of Aix en Provence. The brreakfast is the only positive thing about the hotel. More

This hotel has small but modern rooms with efficient air con. A bit expensive in high season and a way from centre of Aix but all things considered a reliable hotel for the business traveller More

Small room. Faux wood vinyl floor. No in-room safe. Effective air conditioner in room, but after returning to room after 2.5 hours, the room smelled like excrement, literally. Turned off the air conditioning and was able to open the window. Whatever caused the odour (no, not the room occupant!) did not return when I turned the air conditioning back on... More

Escale Oceania was one of the few hotels showing vacancies for a visit to Aix during festival time. It was over-priced,bland, and the "chambre confort " cramped. Any suggestion that it is centrally located is inaccurate. Bus travel was quite efficient by day, but non existent after dark, with few taxis available to service a large festival population, so making... More

I asked for a triple room with a sightseeing tour but they took us to a tiny room where we could barely move around. Staff were very indifferent, both in reception and bar areas. There is no transport to the town that you have to drive to center anyway.. More

Very recently refurbished hotel, the rooms are large, well furnished and very clean. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the centre. More

Nice hotel in a super town. Most of the most-visited villages in this part of Provence are within 1.5 hrs from Aix. The hotel staff made the stay particularly enjoyable. They were so accommodating! Near public transportation; free parking, for those with a vehicle. Very quiet. More

I stayed one night with a friend on the recommendation of TA. After a 5 hour' drive we were pleasantly greeted by the reception staff. We had booked 2 weeks' earlier & the room rate was 60€ less than the advertised rate, excellent value. The smallish room had been recently updated and was perfect for a short stay. The bathroom... Stayed here for 5 nights in 2009 - used this as a base to explore Provence by driving. Nice base given the proximity to the highway, but could be hard to locate without a GPS. Large roomy accomodation, clean bathrooms. No wifi, but you can buy it pretty cheap. Had a swimming pool, but we didn't use it. Expensive breakfast,... More

The hotel is a modern and new building with several facilities (free Wi-fi) and the staff is quite helpful and cooperative. Breakfast is rich and satisfactory. We didn't look at the fitness centre. Apart from these few aspects, we didn't manage to find any other value in this hotel. Starting from the location, which is right behind the highway, with... More
