Very cozy Hotel. Not so many rooms - very quaint. We checked in with a young guy who could not have been more helpful - took to show me the choices of car park - the private one is more secure but very tight for a larger car. The room was fabulously decorated the Ames as is should be. Sleep was hard as the temperature spiked and we needed to run the fan all night. The breakfast was beyond strange with just breads and conserve - although other tables appeared to get eggs - reception staff - female - in the morning were not quite as friendly. Great hotel and would recommend

Charming small hotel in great location. Our room had a private patio which was delightful. Hotel has beautiful antiques, chandeliers etc. Host gave helpful restaurant recommendations and parked our car for us on arrival and brought it back at checkout. This was our first night in France of a 3 week tour and will be a high bar for the rest of our stay.

A home away from home. We booked directly through the hotel website so got to pick a room, though it was difficult to choose. We went for room one in the end as there was a table in the photo. A lovely room though I’m sure all rooms are charming. The staff were very approachable and keen for us to enjoy our time in this elegant property. An oasis of calm and relaxation. We will be back!

This hotel is just perfect, it has the most beautiful courtyard, the building is stunning, the rooms are gorgeous and the staff are just amazing. I could not praise this hotel enough. This was our second visit, the first being around 7 years ago and it did not disappoint, the hotel was just as good this time around. From the time you arrive, greeted by helpful and friendly staff you are made to feel so welcome. The accommodation is wonderful, comfortable and spotlessly clean, the lounge areas are warm and inviting full of beautiful antiques and quirky ornaments. A delicious breakfast is served in the stunning courtyard, freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh croissants with an assortment of jams. The hotel location is just perfect, a short stroll into the centre of Honfleur but far enough away to feel quiet and relaxed. We absolutely love this hotel and can't wait to stay again.

This is one of the most delightful hotels we have stayed at in France. The rooms, building and courtyard are charming. Location is convenient being only a few minutes walk from the port and town centre. Above all the staff are all charming and nothing is too much trouble.

Excellent. Period. After hundreds of hotels around the globe I can definitely say this was the best experience of all. There are bigger hotels, more luxurious rooms and richer facilities. But you will hardly feel like in La Maison de Lucie. It’s a beautiful hotel with warm saloons, tons of flowers, relaxing music, excellent breakfast and all in a building with a lot of character. But shining above all is the amazing team. Francois and Hagira(?) were superb. We faced circumstances that required an extra attention. We couldn’t ask for more. Stayed a week and would stay a month.

From the moment I stepped into the walled garden courtyard entry of the hotel, I was assisted by Francois with my luggage and made to feel like I had arrived at a gorgeous chateau that was now my home! Stepping across the threshold, seeing the gorgeous furnishings, flowers, and light illuminating the spacious hotel, I was overwhelmed with old world charm. And the hotel had the most divine scent wafting through the lobby. All of this was outweighed by the humor and down to earth charm of Francois, who checked us in and showed us to our room, and saw to our every need. While other hoteliers give you a bed and a place to stay, Francois and his wonderful staff gave us an experience, and an oasis away from the maddening crowds of tourists in town. The hotel was quiet, well appointed and spacious, as well as a convenient walk from the town center. The suite we had did not disappoint, beautifully furnished, with high ceilings, large windows, wood floors, gorgeous sitting room and tiled bathroom, and king sized bed and wardrobe. Although the furnishings are period pieces, the bathrooms are modern, light and airy. The beds are beautifully appointed and so very comfortable. A continental breakfast of freshly squeezed orange juice, mango juice, coffees, teas, croissants and other breads and jams is available for 16 euros, and served in the house or courtyard. If you want a welcoming, restful, gorgeous splurge where you will be welcomed as a friend as well as a guest, don’t miss staying here!!

We stayed for two nights Upon arrival, they whisk your bags to your room and away you go… Parking is a few paces away from the hotel. The courtyard is perfect for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. The beds are very comfortable, Wi-Fi is strong The location of the hotel is wonderful as it has amazing views of Honfleur, it’s a five min walk to main shopping/dining area but out of the hustle Quiet and peaceful I can’t recommend this place enough.

The Maison de Lucie is outstanding in every respect. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, we were treated with such warmth and affection that we felt like we were at home. The building is just a short walk to town and is a home of historical significance that is lovingly restored and decorated. There are two (or 3?) indoor lounges that are comfortable and full of character...just perfect for an evening drink and the outdoor courtyard is beautiful and perfect for breakfast. Our room was at the front of the building with it's own separate entranceway...it was perfect in every way. I just can not say enough about the Maison de Lucie...but the real gem is the people who work there...they will do anything to make your stay is a good one and never miss the opportunity for a quick smile or wave...or chat! Merci!

Staff very friendly and so helpful. Hotel is spotlessly clean and full of French style. Beautiful courtyard in which to have lovely continental breakfast and evening drinks. We had the attic room - loads of space for three, and really comfortable beds. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in! Quiet location, yet only 3-4 minute walk to the centre of town. Would definitely stay here again.
