everywhere, in & out fo the hotel, smelled of sewerage. Tramps weeing in the street, over-priced drinks. The bar that's joined tot he hotel was unfriendly (full of regulars). Once you eventually find the hotel, it's in a super location. Some of the hotel looks across into the Grand Place, but you kind of need to go round the back to gain entry to the hotel itself. Staying two days in Lille at a best western in center of town. Great location, excellent staff and very helpful.right around the corner is a great bakery and coffee shop. Skip the hotel breakfast and enjoy fresh croisants. The French make the best.

This hotel has a great location for exploring Vieux Lille. Staff is friendly and English speaking. Room was large with a balcony overlooking the street. A lot of good things about this classical place: first its perfect location in the heart of the city. You can walk basically everywhere from it and the Grand Place is 1 minute away. Nice room with classic furniture. Mini bar would have been better if had few snacks. We could hear our neighbours talking very well, minus point this is. Location close to many shops , bars and train station .

Had a nice stay at this hotel. Hotel was clean, staff helpful, and location brilliant. Had a room overlooking the square...worth paying the extra money. Breakfast was lovely. Stayed for a long weekend, went by euro star. Great mini break.
