We stayed at Les Florentines in September '12. We had a double rooom facing the rear of the building. Our room was spacious and immaculate. Breakfast was filling and tasty. We booked 2 rooms and stayed 3 days. The Florentine on the 3rd (top) floor and another on the 1st floor. Both were very pretty and very French. In brief, this is an excellent base for exploring Carcassonne. It's very close to the medieval city, but on a quiet street.
