This is at most a 2 star hotel in a great location. My husband and I just left today after spending one night in Carcassonne. We paid 85 euros plus 18 euros for a mediocre breakfast.
Pros: Location right outside the walled city, nice English speaking staff, free parking, and free WIFI.

Nice hotel right at the edge of La Cite but a good walk from the new town especially in the rain! The room was comfortable and clean but the shower could only be hand held. Also no shower curtain. Still I would recommend this hotel especially if you have a car as they have private parking. Good free WiFi available...
