We stayed at the Hotel Cluny Square for one night before returning home to the States. The hotel is ideally located one block from the Seine (and very close to Notre Dame) and the St Michel station (with RER direct access to Charles de Gaulle airport) and easy walking distance to the Latin Quarter and St. Germain de Pres areas. Our breakfast was included in the room price and consisted of croissants, various kinds of breads, fruit, and yogurt. Our room was gorgeous with a balcony and a lovely view onto the street below. Since I had unfortunately sustained an ankle fracture earlier during our trip, the room was my resting place and overlook to the world below. The injury also meant I had to hobble up the stairs with crutches from the sidewalk to the first floor reception. Once there, I was able to use the elevator to our second floor room. If you're permanently disabled or have limited mobility in general, you might consider alternative lodging. I do recommend you book directly on the hotel's website rather than use third-party sites as this gained us a deal with breakfast with our room price. 100% recommend and would definitely return!

Good location. Average bed uncomfortable pillows. Reasonably priced given the location. Breakfast was good and the lovely lady serving it very welcoming. Heidi on reception was also very friendly. However, we were put off by poor housekeeping which was confirmed when we couldn't find a folder that we thought we may have left on top of the bed only to find later that the covers had just been pulled over it, indicating that the bed hadn't been properly made at all and the cover was just pulled up. There was also an unusual smell in the room and the air-conditioning was noisy and had an alert saying filter needed to be changed so we didn't use it. The noise from the housekeeping in the mornings was a distraction and the room was cramped. I think other rooms were a better design and size which may account for some of the other better reviews Our room 506 was so small that the chair couldn't fit under the little table as the fridge was there, so it was positioned almost in front of the door making it awkward to enter the room. Mention must also be made as many others have, to the stairs from the entrance to the reception. This is extremely difficult with heavy suitcases as there is no lift access and no one to assist.

Located near the Latin Quarter.. surrounded by a great choice of bars & restaurants on the Boulevard St Michael not far from Notre Dame & next door to the metro & RER. The entrance to the hotel is by a flight of stairs so would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues, however there is a lift on the first floor to the remaining floors. We had a room on the second floor, it was small but the bathroom was a decent size. It was spotlessly clean, room cleaned every day, clean towels, bins emptied, after our second night we had clean bedding. The breakfast was adequate perhaps a bit monotonous, the breakfast room wasn’t very big & the vast majority of it brought on a tray which caused a few logistical problems, as are so many eating places nearby you wouldn’t need to have breakfast there if you didn’t want to. For two nights the air con didn’t work which made it a bit uncomfortable & as there is quite a bit of street noise we couldn’t open the window, however lack of air on meant we didn’t have to pay for our breakfast ! On the whole a very pleasant experience & we would stay again.

We spent months looking for a suitable hotel in the 6th Arrondissement after the hotel we have been staying in for years was sold. After reading many reviews of hotels in the area, we settled on Hotel Cluny Square and we were not disappointed. The room was perfect and well designed. Having a terrace with French doors made for an authentic stay - and a with views of the Eiffel tower. As other reviews indicate, plenty of choice for cafes, crepes etc just underneath the hotel. Also great supermarkets nearby selling rotisserie chicken (Franpix is the best by far) Top tip: Book directly with the hotel on their website and breakfast is included. Also, if you have mobility issues there is a small staircase to climb with your suitcases before reception. A lift will then take you to your room. We had no problem at all with 2 large suitcases. Metro right at door step and buses readily available. Considering the high costs of hotel rooms in Paris, this hotel is very reasonable. Would not hesitate booking again. Highly recommended.

Just back from staying 3 nights at Cluny Square and really enjoyed the visit. The hotel is situated in an excellent location, 20 yards from a Metro Station (direct train to CDG Airport) and located beside a large number of great cafes, restaurants and bars. Probably best described as a boutique hotel. There is no bar and only breakfast is served. In terms of the hotel itself: Bedroom - it is small but but big enough for a city break. The room has everything you need and spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed. One plus was TV had two BBC channels so access to news. Decor is quite trendy. Staff - all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast - served beside reception. It is a continental style breakfast but everything is fresh and more than enough to give you a good start to the day. Only downside is if you have a mobility issue as reception (first floor) is only accessed by a spiral staircase. There is then a lift from reception to the bedrooms. As this a city centre hotel, there is noise at night but did not interfere with my sleep. If I am back in Paris, Cluny Square will be my first choice.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Cluny square for 3 nights in Paris. We were on the second floor, double room, with beautiful Parisian doors opening to the streets of the Latin quarter. Very clean room, very friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous architecture/ styling, comfy bed and in the best location. The breakfast was more than we expected too - fresh croissants, coffee, baguettes, yoghurts and your choice of toast, fruit, cereal as you please. Served by the lovely staff as soon as you sit down. The location is so good too. A few minutes walk to delicious food, main train stations, bus stop across the road, and very walkable to hop on hop off stops. We opted to walk often as it was just so close to everything. We really enjoyed our time here. When we come back to Paris, we will certainly stay here again. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable. Note: it can be easy to miss the entrance as it’s a door in between two shops.

This hotel creates an amazing idea with great photos on their rooms, reception, coffee area and so on, but it isn’t like that. I’ve been there this month and the first thing that impacts you is the the reception is on the first floor, which is ok but there is no elevator from the front door to the reception, just an spiral stairs. So having heavy and big luggage’s is not a good idea for this hotel. The room is really small, the bathroom does not have structure to shower frame, only for bathtub, and also has that typical half glass where the water spills out on the floor. The breakfast as served directly to the table, was not a buffet like most of photos shows. Only cereal’s and jam’s were available as buffet, the coffee, bread, butter, croissants are previously separated based on the number os guests of the room. The location is perfect, have metro access right in front, but sincerely I do not expect to visit again this hotel. The reception team were not so friendly too.

This is one of, if not the the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Staff lovely, rooms clean and interior decor is gorgeous. Bathrooms also very good, shower pressure amazing, standard hairdryer and toiletries, very spacious. Small-ish rooms but we didn’t mind, that’s sort of Parisian architecture at the end of the day. Amazing location, close to two metro stations, loads of bus routes around. Shocked that this place isn’t charging more, it certainly deserves a higher price point- if you’re looking for a good budget hotel in central paris there is no other option in my opinion- coke here!

We had the best hotel room of our multi-city trip at Hotel Cluny Square. The staff was so kind and welcoming. We asked for several things during our stay (extra towels, pillows, etc) and received anything we needed quickly. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. It’s a small hotel, but felt cozy and inviting. Great hospitality. I would stay here again.
