Just got back from a one-night stay at the Abricotel in Paris. If you are fond of hotels miles away from the city centre, strangely painted dingy rooms and en-suites with mould on the ceiling, then this is the place for you. I spent 3 days at the Abricotel, and it was completely satisfying. The room I was in was surprisingly large compared to other French hotels. The room was clean, there was a TV, a big bathroom, and they gave free shampoo, shower gel, soap, and even a shoe polisher(!) every day. Breakfast was not included in the room price however.... More

Do not go to this hotel/hostel. The service was horrible, staff snapping at guests. And the absolute worse was the bed bugs! We had brought our own sheets, but needed up getting bitten by bugs from the mattress/bed. It was a nightmare.
