We wanted the charm of a typical Parisian hotel ,but with modern comfortable rooms, big fluffy white towels, luxurious cotton sheets and space to chill out after a long days sightseeing. The rooms were small, but ours was a corner room, very light and airy with two en-suite bathrooms (perfect)! I expected the room to be small, so the size... More

We stayed 7 nights (March 27 to April 4) at this nice hotel in the 8th arrondissement. Well situated. (Champ Elysee. La Madeleine. Place de la Concorde.) Quiet street near French ministry buildings. Lots of security. Nice little convenience store on the corner. The owner is very friendly. The nearest Metro station (Miromesnil) is 5 minutes away (the other, La... More

Again, I was between a 4 and 5 stars... Going to give 5 because of the service. We stayed during New Year's, 4 nights. My only remarks: - The room is really small. I know, it's Paris! I have been to other hotels there, but this one was really really small. There was no place to leave the luggage except... More

If you are thinking of trying this hotel because you are a fan (as we are of the big sister hotel Le Pavillon de la Reine ) then a couple of points to note. The breakfast is not as good or well organised (staff are sometimes hard to find ) and the reception was often manned by one person eg... More

A small quality hotel right beside the Élysées palace. Style is literary, with all rooms names after writers. Decor is stylish and fresh. Very clean. Lots of nice little touches that show care and attention to quality. We had to connecting rooms for us and 2 children. All turned out exactly as was explained to us. The top marks go... More

If you are looking for a hotel that's within walking distance of mostly everything, this hotel is perfect. My boyfriend and I were tourists in Paris for the first time and enjoyed having the convenience of being able to walk to most main attractions. The room was extremely small but apparently that's the case for most Paris hotels. The room... More

Perfect central location, a short walk from the Champs Élysées, r St Honore etc, but still quiet. Rooms are small but beautifully appointed with modern bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again if I got the same rate. Staff discrete and not as snooty as I have found in some Parisienne hotels. Good breakfast in small restaurant.

We booked this hoping to have a little treat away from the kids for the Tour de France finale weekend in July 2012. It was no where near as pricey as some of the other hotels we looked at in the same area of Paris but we were really impressed with it. The rooms are very stylish and plush, it... More

We stayed at the Pavillon des Lettres for four nights, and savored every moment of it. This is the definition of small luxury hotel, as the rooms are truly unique and the decor modern and luxurious. Being an avid reader, I really appreciated the tiny details of this "literary" hotel, from the rooms each named after a famous writer or... More
