1)The Hotel's staff are rude, impolite and unprofessional. 2)The rooms are average but the cleanliness of the bathroom/toilet is questionable..there were signs of mould in the bath tub area. Renovation is required. 3)Blatant disregard to signs. For instance - there was a 'do not disturb' sign on our door and the member of staff twice ignored it and came in.... More

If you're looking for a place with narrow hallways in an old building with tiny rooms, this may be the place for you. It's not the best $200 a night hotel I've stayed in, but for Paris is was a good deal in a great location. According to google maps the place has closed. I'm call them first. More

We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights, it's location was brilliant, not a far walk from anywhere really. Surrounded by cafes & bars. The hotel was clean, tidy, & recently refurbished to a somewhat modern standard. The room was very small but not a box, however, as we didn't plan on staying in it for any length of time... More

New Hotel Opera is a minute away from Liege station, and is very well located (Place de Clichy about a 3 minute walk away, and surrounded by cafes, bars and corner shops). However, the room was small - I think the bathroom was bigger! - and it's so noisy! Not only could we hear the water system from the room... More

A good value for money, but remember earplugs as you can easily hear your neighbours. It is very noisy. But you can see the Liege Metro as soon as you walk out the door and it takes app. 2 minutes to walk there. You can also walk to Moulin Rouge and Montmartre within 10 minutes. The hotel is still under... More

We went to Paris for the last weekend in October 2010 and stayed at this hotel for one night. Although it is only a 3 star, for the price we paid I expected this to be on the higher end of the 3 star spectrum. I can't fault the location, nice and clean district, half way between Opera and Montmartre... More

I stayed at the New Hotel oprea for 3 nights. The hotel is in a good location, the reception staff are very friendly the reception area and breakfast area is newly refurbished. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have is the noise travels through the walls but to be honest after a long day sight-seeing nothing... More

The title is far from an exageration. Shabby hotel with zero staff and dirty shabby rooms. You are greeted in a make shift 'pop-up' reception area and directed through a building site 'lobby' where you are encouraged to take the lift to your room before your brain starts processing the dire situation you have just walked into !!!! The rooms... More

The New hotel Opera is perfectly situated for anyone that is wanting to see the sights. It's about two minute walk from subway (Liege station). We stayed in this hotel two nights in december and we were dissapointed from the heating - it was turned off during the day! The room was small but cozy. Wouldn't recommend. More

The hotel is undergoing renovation and the workmen woke me up at 8am in the morning. Additionally, the air conditioning in the rooms are being installed and did not work. The room was unbearably hot and opening the windows leads to a lot of noise. We arrived at the hotel and was told that our room was not available due... More
