Recently opened after a refurbishment of a former monastery. Clean and spacious rooms (en suite), pleasant staff, free parking. Five minutes takes you to old town down the hill, a slightly longer walk up to the citadel.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful, recommending restaurants and arranging for a taxi to the train station. Even though we had lots of wind and rain, the comforts of the hotel (lovely bathroom, robes and slippers, breakfast in bed) made this a memorable stop on our trip.

this is a new hotel in an old convent in the besancon old town - and very pretty it is too with a lovely terrace and good public rooms. the upside to being a former convent is tall, spacious rooms and a delightful ambience.
