The location is 10 minutes walk from the station and 10 minutes from the old town centre and right in the middle of the shopping district but on a side street. In the future it will be even more convenient when the trams are up and running. For a two star hotel we found it very comfortable. There was free... More

Located on a quiet street in the heart of Tours, this hotel is within easy walking distance of the old city, cathedral and many other sites and restaurants. The staff was very helpful. When our GPS got messed up getting to the hotel due to road construction, we called and one of the hotel staff stayed on the phone with... More

Nice small Hotel with small room and bathroom. Only basic facilities (no cap shower). Location very good between train/bus station and old town. Can move always walking. Internet never worked during stay. Friendly staff. All ok to a 2 star hotel except price (expensive). More

This hotel is fabulously located right in the centre of Tours, so if that's where you want to be, that's good. The rooms were expensive however, and tiny for the price. The staff were varied. One was a joy - all smiling faces - but the other couldn't have been less helpful. While we were sitting in the bar area... More

Pros: In a convenient area close to rail station, tourist information (where one can book trips to the main attractions), and many restaurants/bars. Clean and safe. Nothing fancy, basic facilities. It is a honest 2 stars hotel. The price (80 EUR/night) is on a high site for this type of hotel but it was high season. Cons: Nothing really important... More

If you're in Tours for a few days, either for business or for touring, and you want something downtown, close to the action and the tourist sites, this hotel is for you. It's on a semi-pedestrian narrow street, a half-block from the main thoroughfare of the downtown core. The fact that it's on a narrow street and the distance from... More

We only stayed one night on our car trip through the loire valley but it was very comfortable and the staff was friendly. The room was larger than what you would get in Paris for a lot less money. There is an elevator big enough for two. The bathroom was enormous by european standards and even had a tub which... More

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days while attending Institut de Touraine (French language program) in Tours and loved it! The room was minimally decorated, but it was very clean and quite large as compared to other hotels that I've stayed at in France. The location was perfect--half a block from the main shopping street in Tours, and just... More

We recently stayed at the Des Chateaux de la Loire in Tours, France. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The location was ideal, right in the center of Tours, but on a quiet street. The breakfast was very good. There was convenient parking at a reasonable price. The only negatives: The rooms were somewhat small and there was no air... More
