We stayed at La Maison Paradis for one night when we travelled to Chartres to visit the Cathedral. We stayed here for three weeks prior to our definitive move to Chartres. Gael and Lionel were the epitome of graceful. They helped us find everything from restaurants to appliances for our new home. The spirit of France is alie and well in Chartres. This is a fantastic place to stay.

Sadly, we were only there one night. The room, the house, the welcome from Gael, everything is perfect and uplifting. We were happy to have a great shower, after a sad tub in Paris. Even though people go to Chartres mostly to see the cathedral, you could easily spend a couple oh happy days in Paradise.

A wonderful three nights at this gorgeous place, I can't recommend it highly enough. Breakfast is divine and Gael and Lionel are warm and helpful. The whole place - house and grounds - is enchanting. A rare gem.

Magic atmosphere, rooms spacious and comfortable, tasty breakfast (pan d'epice!). And you feel at home. It's a wonderful and charming home, in an oasis of peace with a beautiful garden, the staff are so helpful and friendly.

One night was not enough in this wonderful restored period building with beautiful grounds and fabulous hosts. Very comfortable room, well appointed bathroom with great products, super breakfast and great conversation with Lionel and Gael. Thank you both.
