we couldn't fault this hotel. Beautiful character filled hotel, clean rooms and friendly service for a fantastic price (43 euros for an ensuite room!). It was even within walking distance of the station and town centre. We would reccomend it to anyone looking for a budget hotel in dijon.

10 minute walk to city centre, this hotel is situated on busy roundabout. We were travelling home, so stayed just 1 night. Hotel Victor Hugo is fine, for the price. The mattress was squishy, the 'water closet' was a literal interpretation and the 'petit dejeuner' erred well toward the 'petit' side of things. But really, it's a great location, very affordable and a friendly place. I'd just not be burning up my time in Burgundy here. Get to the countryside.
