The escale oceania is the poor relation (tatty, and worn out) and can easily be booked by mistake.The staff then pretend the hotels are independant and only by insisting did they grudgingly help me rebook to the four star oceania. A very quiet,modern,clean and pleasant hotel by the sea, within walking distance of the walled town. Staff were polite and attentive Bed was "Out of this world" for comfort! Good room facilities, but missed being able to make our own tea or coffee. An excellent breakfast set us on our way. Would definately stay again!

My friends and I really enjoyed our night in Oceania. We had a glass wall facing the ocean and it was so great that I din't want to step out of the room. Great location, very near to the old part of the city; right on the beach, lots of great restaurants nearby. Very friendly staff. A quite decent breakfast, which is unusual in these kinds of hotels. Comfortable room. Here 3 nights. Fabulous view of ocean. Front desk so professional with perfect English, German......and likely more. They go out of their way to be helpful.
