Washrooms have been updated and are clean. The rest of the room is very outdated and have cement block walls, reminded me of dorms at Uni. The fire alarm was ringing when we returned to the hotel one evening. There was no attempt to evacuate guests and no leadership from the staff who seemed convinced it was a false alarm! Good welcome, all staff friendly and helpful. Felt it was expensive for this hotel-no pool or fitness facilities. Paid extra for breakfast which was satisfactory. The Ibis Bordeaux Centre Meriadeck is a good, inexpensive option located only a short walk from the old town area. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have ample space, the WiFi is great and the hotel is located immediately opposite a tram and bus station. There is a restaurant downstairs and easy access for cars.

Clean place and very quiet, great location and yum breakfast! Near public transport. Bordeaux is a beautiful town - definitely will stay here again! I stayed here with a group and everyone enjoyed the hotel and visiting the town and wished they had longer. The staff seem to be working hard, making sure guests are comfortable. Love bordeaux!
