On the border of "Petite France", it is the location to stay to start visiting the city. The staff is very kind and helpful. this is a very good base for a short stay in this stunning city. We walked the kilometer or so from the station on pedestrianised routes along the river walkways, then found the hotel beautifully situated on a weir by the Ill in the most picturesque (OK, bit touristy but beautifully restored) part of Srasbourg.
