Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed for the Jason derulo concert, checked in at 4pm, the staff were quite stand off ish however i think this is a manchester thing in general as most people we spoke to seemed like they weren’t interested. On arrival i got told i had to pay £10 extra to what i had to pay when i booked it, i asked why as i had no extras or changes to the room and the man said he wasn’t sure so i had to pay it anyway. Other than that the hotel itself is clean and rooms are a good size, it’s in a great location and fine for 1 night. Also the lady who checked my sister in in the morning was really kind and helpful so it wasn’t all the staff.

For a refurbished 1960s office block, this hotel had everything we needed for a two-night stay in order to go on a steam train tour. The room, staff and food were very good, though the hairdryer didn't seem to work. The fact that we didn't sleep well was nothing to do with the bed or room, which were very comfortable. It was easy to get round the city centre from there by foot or tram. If you need to stay near Victoria Station you could do a lot worse than try this one.

Premier in beds are so good . Good place for a well priced stopover .Brilliant staff and the hotel is so clean. Good full English breakfast plus lots of choice for healthier diet and spot on with the dietary requirements advice. Great parking onsite or nearby thanks to reception for their help on that.

Stayed here recently for just one night, great location. All staff were really friendly and service was excellent. Comfortable room which was really clean and I had a good nights sleep. Nice and quiet with a great breakfast in the morning. Would happily stay here again

The hotel was fine, but the breakfast service was appalling. I need to eat early and get to work, so the 06.30 opening for breakfast is ideal. On day one there was a lot of conversation going on in the kitchen and finally at 06.52 I was asked what I would like to order! I didn't, it was to late to wait for the food to be cooked. Day two was fine. Day three, yet again a lot of chatter in the kitchen but no food materialised. If Premier are going to advertise breakfast at 06.30 on weekdays they should ensure that the staff are also aware of this. I also noticed on my return, they had the temerity to charge me for the breakfasts I didn't eat. I've used Premier Inn for several years, as do my staff but I am now seriously considering changing as standards seem to have plumeted.

Called up as I needed to amend a booking and your booking reservations team were very unhelpful and told me to just call the hotel. Lovely girl answered and helped me straight away with everything I needed and made it so easy, I’ve not been to Manchester before so this took a lot off my mind knowing it was sorted. Thank you again

First time writing a review but I had such an amazing stay here that it was needed. Had a lovely breakfast in the morning and the beds were very comfortable, just want set me up for the day. All staff I saw were lovely and clearly enjoyed their work, Leona on the bar was a pleasure and gave me directions so I could get to my meeting on time. Thanks again!

Great hotel if you war going to the AO Arena. A very short walk. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay again. There was an issue with kids above us running around but i do not hold the hotel responsible for them. So I will not mark them down for this.

Stayed over for the hot wheels event at the arena and had a great time. Kids really loved it and all the staff were great with them and ever so patient with all the kids in the hotel. Breakfast was very busy but everything was hot, came out abit slow but was very nice. Will stay again if we are in Manchester
