Need to start by saying that this Travelodge only cost £26 (room only) for one night so bear that in mind! Ideal location just 50 metres from the intersection of Deansgate and Market Street, so only a few minutes from the shops and bars and restaurants of Central Manchester. The MEN Arena and Victoria 10 minutes walk. Check-in using the automated... More

Just for the one night, lifts were out so had to use the stairs, luckily only on the 2nd floor and fixed by the evening. Room was huge, biggest one at any travelodge i've stayed at. Nice staff, great room, nice bar restaurant area but didnt eat here.

I am writing this review as I lie in my sofa bed in a family room. The room is spacious however the sofa bed is not a sofa bed it is a mattress on the floor. On arrival at the hotel the system was down so we could not check in so we went for a drink at the bar.... More

Stayed here for an hen party weekend. The rooms are huge and the beds are comfy. The staff are very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The bar and food prices at this hotel were great. Great location. 10 mins walk to canal st, 5 mins to the print works and 1min to the main bars! Can't complain at... More

This is one of the better travelodges I have stayed at. The check in staff were very efficient and helpful and we got checked in very quickly. The rooms were larger than most in city centers and nice and clean. Few critisms - only 1 towel for 2 people in the room ? went and asked for more and it... More

Positives Reception great, room fine basic but as you would expect a travelodge - couple of hangers, TV on wall bed. It was clean but pillows and duvet very thin. Towels good. Room at back, so reasonably quiet until first thing. However the memory of spain . . . hot water or rather the lack of it! A cold shower... More

Location was great but hotel was very tired and dirty. The room I had ( 208 ) was very noisy which I thick was the air con or extractor from somewhere near the room. Shower was appalling and not very hot. Room had stains on th ecarpet and staining on the walls. I know that the travel lodges are budget... More

Visited for a weekend away with friends. Hotel is excellently located for shops and bars. Rooms were clean but basic. However nothing else needed for a 24 stay. Parking was available underneath the hotel. Had food in the bar area in the early hours of the morning and this was great too. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, close to shops, rail links and many restaurants. BUT bed absolutely dreadful. Rooms and bathroom generally shabby and in need of a refurb. Corridors and stairways quite smelly. Wild not use again
