Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

On arrival I was told that I had to pay £3 parking and was shown to my “so called” executive room by the most miserable hotel worker that I’ve ever come across. The room itself was filthy. Stains on the bedsheets, carpets, chair. Shower full of mould & hairs. I refused to stay and left without a refund. Avoid at all costs.

Not even worth £59 a night, was placed by the council and yes it helped keep me off the streets but still appalling that council would put people in this hotel. The room was horrible and there was light outside my window keeping me awake most of the night. There was constant noise from the corridor from the other guests. A smell of someone smoking thoughout the hotel, the door didn’t even lock properly so didn’t feel safe at all. The only good thing is the comfort of the bed

Upon arrival we were placed in a room and just walking through the hallway you could see the filthy floor and dust on the furniture. In the room there was a mouldy Kit Kat in the bathroom as well as a dead spider and pubic hair in the shower. The blinds had slats half missing. The beds had stained sheets and the walls had all damp stains. The dust was building up everywhere. We walked out

This was a last minute booking as I was (unfortunately) told I had to do an early start in Manchester. On arrival I was told that I had to pay £3 parking and then was led to my so called “executive” room by the most miserable man you could ever meet. The room was filthy. Stains on the bed covers, stains on the carpet. There was a dirty stained chair in the room & I’d sooner wash in the canal than go in the filthy, black mouldy shower. I refused to stay there and was refused a refund. What a filthy, dirty hovel. Avoid at all costs.

When I found the hotel on booking .com I thought I was just saving money, but if you wanna stay in Manchester fo not go here, at first it seemed fine but I was wrong. No TV in rooms, mould and damp.near windows cracks in walls and ceilings even has cockroaches, how this place has not been shut down already is beyond me Also some points if your a smoker and want to go for a smoke in the middle of the night they won't let you They also demand the key back everytime you go for a smoke or go away from.the hotel Mismatched bedding and a gloomy view of a brick wall So avoid at all costs just spend a little extra to stay in a better place

Absolute top quality place. Has a unique smell that reminds me of my teenage years, sweating in my bedroom playing crash bandicoot. Is also pet friendly and comes with pets included in the rooms. Can also tell that the rooms and bedding are 'well loved'. Unfortunately, no toilet paper but last guest seemed to manage using the tiled floor and the bedroom carpet. Would highly recommend

Utter craphole. The room stank like a teenage boy. The screaming in the park kept us up til 3am the first night, then the dump valves and horn honking of the boy racers did the second night. The staff member walking round the hotel at 7am shouting "taxi!" wasn't exactly conducive to a good night's sleep either. Breakfast was two stale heels of bread: when we said we were going out to buy food the man in reception just chuckled. I've read reviews that say "you get what you pay for". I call balls on that. This place should be shut down, condemned, and knocked down. The owners should face some kind of loss of business licence for how this place is run. I'm astounded that somewhere like this can remain open for business in the modern world, not least because it's been in the national press! Just don't go. Save yourself the horror of blood stained towels being replaced with poo stained towels and do not go. Why no option for no stars?!
