Don't be put off by the rather austere photograph of the hotel - it really is very pleasant inside. OK so its not your usual chain hotel, but personally I find those tiresome. I was booked in at The Park Hotel while on a training course in Preston, what a great place to stay. One of the best beds I have slept in and a great room with a recently decorated modern ensuite. With friendly staff, really good breakfast and excellent evening meals, could not ask for more.

Friendly, accommodating staff, who were keen to make us feel at home. Close to everywhere important; the perfect place to re-explore many old haunts.
