We loved the style of the hotel and the hotel grounds. It was easy walking distance to town AND of course to the famous Betty's Tea Rooms which we frequented often. Although we enjoyed our visit to York we preferred Harrogate and although it was busy due to a long weekend it certainly wasn't as busy as York.
