Spent 2 nights at the New Inn between Christmas and New Year. Pauline and Tim were great hosts and ensured a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The room was excellent along with all the meals and drinks we had in the bar. Special mention for the quality of the real ale of which plenty was consumed! Breakfast in the morning... More

I echo all the great comments that already exist on this page, the room was beautiful, great meal and drinks in the pub for dinner, delicious full english breakie in the morning and very helpful owners. Harrogate is around 15 minutes drive away, and the hotel is easy to find with lovely views of the countryside. One thing to note... More

We had booked two single rooms B&B and were given two double rooms so a very reasonable rate. Both rooms very tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Good supply of teas, coffees and biscuits each day. Other reviewers have commented on the rooms being small, but they are ample as there is plenty of storage space so you don't... More

Visited for a late Sunday lunch at about 5pm (they serve lunch on Sundays until 8pm). We found it dissappointing and probably will not return to eat. The positives- friendly service, well kept real ale, good ambience, and lovely desserts. The desserts are worth highlighting-all 4 of us felt they were very good. The dissappointments: Yorkshire puddings dry and cold,... More

Although we only stayed overnight we were made most welcome by the owners, Tim and Pauline. Tim prepared us a fine meal in the restaurant and then entertained us in the bar afterwards with his knowledge of the music world! Our room with en-suite was comfortable, modern and clean and breakfast was freshly prepared with local ingredients. Will return again... More

I needed somewhere to stay whilst doing an exhibition in Harrogate and chose the New Inn purely from the TripAdvisor recommendations. This is a lovely little pub within 20 minutes of Harrogate and, whilst at a crossroads, there was little or no traffic noise. It has a nice bar/restaurant with three real ales plus the other usual lagers and ciders.... More

My partner and I stayed at The New Inn for two nights in June. Upon arrival, we were greeted and shown to our room which was spottless, homely and comfortable. Tim and Pauline King (the owners) were friendly and welcoming, as were the other members of staff. The morning breakfasts and the evening meals were absolutely superb, faultless. We would... More
