We had some nice days in Wicklow. The spacious Seefin house we had was comfortable and just right for a family. As suggested by the friendly and very helpful gentlemen at reception we went to Glendalough and also did the cliff walk from Bray to Greystones. We even climbed ‘Great Sugar Loaf’, thanks to the free walking guide booklet we... More

Enjoyed a fabulous 4 day break with friends in one of the 4-bedroom Seefin type houses. The views from the bay windows in the living area were fantastic, overlooking the valley and mountains, which remarkably are still snow capped. The chilly evenings were made really cosy with the wood burning stove being put to good use. Even though the location... More

Stayed here with our two children. Once you have paid and turned up you dont need to see any of the staff at the estate. the doors are left open with the key in the back and a note on the reception door told us where we were staying. If you turn up earlier this may be different. And when... More

The house we satyed in was named "Athdown" and were delighted with the accomodation. The views were superb, particularly from the two large windows in the living room. The house was spacious, clean and well kept. The scenery was spectacular, with fantastic walks around the area. The wildlife was a joy to watch, with wild deer and even a couple... More

Following a few Trip Advisor reviews and viewing their own website we decided to book a week out of season (May 2008) for 5 adults and two infants (both under 2) in one of the 4 bedroom self-catering apartments. The standard of the property we stayed in was average - nothing special. It consisted of 3 bedrooms (one with ensuite)... More

Kippure is a nice place, with nice houses for self catering. The area is beautiful and quite. We've paid quite a lot, but felt that it wasn't a good value (in comparison with other places we have stayed). The main problem was that the owners allowed a large group of people to have a party in the Kippure bar until... More

We had a lovely time here. The apartment was spacious and it had a wonderful picture window overlooking the hillside where we could see deer grazing in the evening. There are extensive grounds that you can wander round - even following the River Liffey. We also booked through GoIreland.com - we got a good deal because it was the Whit... More

I booked a weekend self-catering rental on the goireland.com website. The recently- built, house slept 7 people in four bedrooms, with two bathrooms. Simply, but comfortably furnished and well equipped. Beautiful surroundings in the middle of Wicklow scenery, yet easy to find coming from either Blessington or Roundwood. The Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a wonderful... More

We rented a self-catering four-bedroom home for a week in Mid-August. There were six adults. The Kippure Estate - oringally a hunting lodge - is located on 240 acres in Kildare, Blessington, County Wicklow on the edge of the Wicklow Mountains National Park. It is a mixture of B&B rooms and 10 self-catering homes in two and four-bedroom schemes. We... More
