The Meetings B&B is directly located at the actual Meeting of the Waters. A beautiful spot in nature, where 2 murmuring streams join and flow together. Peaceful atmosphere. I can understand that poet Thomas Moore got inspired and wrote a poem about this place. In one of the two breakfast rooms there is a gorgeous view on the river. Photos... More

We stayed for 5 nights, 2 couples for bed and breakfast, rooms were clean and comfortable breakfasts were excellent. We had a few very nice, reasonably priced meals in the restaurant with no complaints from any of us, drinks were a fair price, entertainment is better over the weekend (fri/sat/sun) The Meetings is set in a lovely beauty spot and... Stayed here with my wife and three relative from Toronto, Canada. We all very much enjoyed our 3 nights here and wished we could have stayed longer. Lovely owners, we were well looked after especially at breakfast!! Ahh, those extra sausages and bacon!!! Rooms were clean and tidy, food both at breakfast and in the bar downstairs were excellent and... More

We stayed at the Robins Nest (above the Meetings Bar) for one night. The room and breakfast were excellent, but also we enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant followed by wonderful entertainment with folk songs from all over the world. Highly recommended.

We stayed at The Meetings for 3 nights last July. It has taken me so long to write this review because I really did not want to upset the owners who were really very nice, but I did not particularly enjoy my stay. The rooms were very dusty, with dust visible along the skirting boards, on the lampshades and even... More

County Wicklow has so much to offer; beautiful countryside, lovely walks, fishing. golf. etc. The Meetings gets its name from the meeting of two rivers which join... More

We stayed for two nights bed & breakfast and got a wonderful welcome from the proprieter Marion. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our breakfast was huge and freshly prepared, it kept us going all day. We also had a meal in the pub which was also excellant. Great choice of menu and cooked beautifully If we had... More

Stayed one night. After a long ride down from Belfast we received a warm welcome. Beautiful room very clean. Had a lovely meal in the bar enjoyed some irish music, slept in a comfortable bed, enjoyed a fresh cooked breakfast and left very rested the following morning. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This BnB, is situated on the road from Rathdrum to Avoca. They advertise that every Sunday, between 1600 & 1900, there is traditional Irish Dancing. I was disappointed to see that no dancing was performed, just an old band playing.
