Stayed in the Arklow Bay hotel last friday I really liked it! The staff on reception were very friendly and approachable, always willing to help with any questions and suggest places to go, or ring taxis whatever we needed! In particular an Irish Blonde lady who was working Friday night who suggested a few places to go for a drink... More

Found this hotel to be a very pleasent stay... The rooms are clean and functional, if a little dated in decor and the room service was excellent. The view was less than portrayed on the website but does still have a lovely stroll way along the beach front. The breakfasts were average, fine but nothing of note. The dinner in... More

A really pleasant hotel with a nice indoor swimming pool. The hotel itself is about a 10-15minutes walk from town. The town of Arklow is quite small, but there are some great pubs and bars. Would not hesitate to revisit if we were back in the area. From Dublin on the train to Arklow was about an hour. The walk... More

We stayed there in Oct 2011 for three nights and we had a nice room which was very pleasant, warm and which really had great frontage as it overlooked a small stream / river which had a lovely walk alongside. They have a very nice leisure centre which is fully equipped with a gym and pool. The food was mostly... More

We spent the weekend there with a group of friends. We arrived on Friday evening with a very efficient check in. Our room had a sea view and the room was lovely. We ate in the bar on Friday night and i would have to say it was one of the most extensive and reasonably priced bar menus I have... More

Three of us spent afternoon in the Spa in the Arklow Bay Hotel which is run separate from the Hotel. It was one of the best Spa's I have even been to. The treatments were fantastic (back massage, facial, mini pedicure and mini manicure) and brilliant value for money. You also have the use of the indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam... More

I stayed here in October as part of a golfing Weekend. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, in fact they organised the golf courses and all the transport! The rooms were simple but clean and tidy and the food was excellent. The only slight issue was that the entertainment suited an older age group, but there's plenty of bars... More

A group of about 20 of us stayed here for 2 nights in October 2011. We were there on a golfing weekend and the hotel were extremely helpful in booking tee times and transport for our group to and from the golf courses in the area. The staff were courteous and professional and the hotel was clean and well maintained.... More
