We booked a last minute deal for dinner bed and breakfast and were not disappointed! The hotel is a 3 star with no frills but a lovely atmosphere with fantastic naturally friendly staff. We stayed in the lodge accross the road which was just what we needed as our requirement was a room with no noise. Had a fantastic breakfast... More

Following a lovely meal here a few months ago, we decided to spend our wedding anniversary there-booking for just one night. Booking just the one night was a pleasure-both by phone and confirmation emails were answered immediately-a rare treat! Sinead, Carmel and Michelle were able to follow each others emails no problem! Although the weather was wet, our welcome on... More

Stayed only one night in April 2013. Our rooms were all clean & comfortable. The service was excellent. Staff very friendly if you wanted, or discrete if you prefered. We had a very enjoyable evening meal.

I stayed here midweek on business. It really is set in the most beautiful location, I was lucky to get a room with a balcony that overlooked the golf coarse. The hotel is a little dated but its clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good and the shower was amazing. I'll be going back again.

We had our wedding at Woodenbridge a few weeks ago and we were very happy how everything worked out. The location of the hotel is beautiful and it has all the characteristics that you would hope would be in a Wicklow Hotel, warm, friendly, cozy and full of character. We had our Ceremony in the Lodge that over looks the... More

Stayed here for one night on a Saturday. The room cost was €100.00 for one night to include breakfast. Check in was seamless and the staff were very friendly. I expected a nice room for the price we paid and had requested a balcony which we did not get. The room was in need of an upgrade although it was... More

Stay here for one night (attending wedding in Ballybeg), it is a very dated hotel. Really needs a lift! The big bonus is their staff, excellent. Was very busy when we were there, so they must be doing something right

Dear guest, Thanks for your review and I’m glad you found the service so good. I’m sorry you found parts of the hotel dated, and while it is the oldest hotel in Ireland, we do have a maintenance programme in place, and as much as possible we change curtains, carpets etc. This month alone we have changed the curtains in... Our daughter's wedding took place here recently. It was lovely - such a friendly place in a beautiful setting. The room where the ceremony took place was beautifully decorated and had a wonderful view, and the function room for the meal and dancing was gorgeous, beautifully decorated. The service was superb and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a... More
