Words can not describe the stay we had when we visited Serenity Country Escape B&B in July. From the moment we stepped in the door - to the sad goodbye the following, we were treated as friends by Glenn and Shawn. Their hospitality extended above and beyond, and this is in addition to the picturesque surroundings of our accommodation. The... More

Myself and my girlfriend stayed for one night and the our only problem was that we couldnt stay for longer. Our room was immaculate, and the aromas throughout the house really do set a relaxing atmosphere. The bath really is a great selling point and it did not disappoint. Glenn helpfully gave us a mix of different oils, as we... More

Our stay at Serenity was just what we were were looking for! A tranquil gettaway for the weekend! From the moment we arrived we enjoyed the welcoming hospitality of Glenn and Shawn. There was an excellent choice for breakfast which was served at a time that suited us. No one was hurried out of bed. Not only that but the... More

This B&B is truly remarkable. From the minute we arrived we felt welcomed and at home. Glenn's strawberry cheesecake was delicious, and after a long motorbike journey in the rain, tea and coffee and cake were a welcome treat and warmed us up. We stayed in the Mountain View Room, it was a beautiful room, nice and spacious and spotlessly... More

My friend and I stayed here for a long weekend in order to get a nice peaceful break from Dublin without having to travel too far. Even as we drove in the gate to the B&B, it's peaceful surroundings, little bubbling private river, parasoled deck and hammock(!), I felt the worries of the city quickly melt away. I was warmly... Cannot recommend this place highly enough! Close to the lovely Camolin Village, but set in lush forestry by the river. From the moment my fiance and I arrived we were made to feel so welcome and at home. The owners are extremely informative, helpful and friendly. They were always available to provide info, but also gave us the privacy to... More

Halfway through a 2 week detox, we decided to book a night away to take our minds off the task at hand- somewhere with no bar, ultra relaxing and not expensive. After a quick Google, Serenity seemed to fit the bill perfectly- Only an hour from Dublin, a haven of tranquillity, and amazing reviews on TripAdvisor. It lived up to... More

Reading the views before I went I was first delighted with my last minute booking but then I thought it was impossible that it could be as good as everyone was saying it was...but it was even better than any review could do it justice. The small capacity means everyone is looked after in such a personal manner. From the... More

Having visited Serenity on two previous occasions (in Glenn and Shawn's initial year) we were delighted when our daughter treated us to one of their gift vouchers. We went down to Camolin just for a one night break, and it was everything that we remembered - the perfect little touches that makes the house beautifully relaxing, picturesque and imbued with... Glenn (we didn't meet Shawn) was an attentive and pleasant host who made us very welcome and was careful to explain everything in advance. The rate was reasonable and the breakfast was gorgeous. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable and the bed-linen crisp and clean. We had a telescope (which we didn't get using) and a games set... More
