Hi, We stayed at Portree for a week, excellent Value for Money, The Hotel itself was clean and tidy, the bedroom was nicely decorated and the breakfast was superb every day! My daughter used the shared computer and enjoyed the free hot chocolate whenever she could! Will be staying here again without a doubt! More

Second time staying at the Portree b&b and very satisfied with the service. Staff are very friendly & the breakfast is great. Only niggle was that the mattress in the bed is a bit old so you can feel the springs but otherwise no complaints. More

This guest house is in a convenient location for walking to all the attractions in Waterford. In our three week trip, it was also the only place that used a flat sheet on the bed instead of just the duvet. Those are the only positives. Our bedspread was stained and there still was hair from the last customer in our shower. The building smells like old cigarette smoke and mildew that management has attempted to cover up with air freshener. I actually stayed there in July 2009. A little off the beaten path but near enough to restaurants and shops. Originally I had booked with the hostel portion, but opted for a private single room instead. Had a small ensuite, the room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent. More

Very good location, just a few minutes walk from the train station and the town centre. The staff are very friendly and looked after all my needs. My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I have stayed here before and will probably come back next year. More

I did stay at the guesthouse the 2md time this year. Lovely place to stay if you visit Waterford! Rooms are tidy, breakfast is delicious, all the staff including the manager are very accommodating and friendly. definitely we'll go back again! More

we stayed in portree house.for 3 nights it was very clean and friendly place.the staff were always polite and helpful.and agreat breakfast in a spotless dining room.plus all the little extras like sweets and fruit to help yourself.i would recommend portree house.as an ideal location clost to everything.thanks to all. will be back.
