Westport was only a one night stopover on our way from Dingle Peninsula to Bushmills, but the Glenderan B & B was the best of our two week stay. Our room was very large and beautifully decorated and our host, Ann, fixed a great breakfast and was very accommodating. It's too bad there is not much to do in Westport... More

We were a bit disappointed being in a room looking out to the driveway but other than that the room was beautifully decorated and we spent time sitting in the sunroom writing our journals and later on in the evening our hostess lit a peat fire in the sittingroom which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was fabulous. More

Glenderan B&B is quite a large B&B with many rooms and from the many people at the breakfast tables the following morning it must have been almost full. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite and with wifi access. A real bonus was the association with a local health centre where we could go and have... More

Fantastic B&B. Rooms were excellent, extremely clean with lovely en-suite. Quiet area and only a short drive from Westport. Lovely breakfast. Overall experience was equally as good as many 4 star hotels in Ireland. More

What else can one say that has not been said, this B&B is at the top and only place to stay when in Westport, excellent rooms, a lovely sitting area, great area for watching the game next to the fire place while the rain is coming down, very close to town, we drove due to rain. Nice harbor town. Thank... More

This was a comfortable B&B within a short distance of the harbor and several restaurants. The house is nicely decorated throughout and very clean. The breakfast menu is limited though the meal is well prepared and you won't go away hungry. Our room was very comfortable with a view on the front yard that is also well maintained. More

It is an excellent four star bed and breakfast; wonderful, spacious and comfortable accomodation. Excellent food. Fantastic welcome and facilities; It is very centrally located, near the town of Westport, and at the gateway to Connemara and its breathtaking scenery. The hosts Dermot and Ann O' Flaherty make a wonderful team. They know how to be helpful, friendly, warm and... More

Myself and my partner stayed here at the weekend because he was going to climb Croagh Patrick. Its a lovely house with really nice garden on a small quiet side road five minutes drive out of Westport. I booked it because of its reviews on Tripadvisor. The rooms were beautifully kept, with a great attention to detail in their decoration.... More

My wife and I spent 2 lovely nights at Glenderan. Of all the B & B's we stayed in, Gleneran was the best in Ireland. I was also so grateful for the Dermots' (host) help in planning our Ireland trip. Since we've been back home we talk to our friends and family about Dermots' fantastic knowledge of Ireland and his... More
