Well located large Hotel, with great views, well appointed gardens and grounds. Large somewhat non-cosy foyer, and awkwardly located lifts and non-intuitive stairs. We stayed 3 nights at Knockranny. Good value for money - an over 50's midweek special including dinner, breakfast and free use of the spa facilities. The restaurant was very good and deserve to be rated among the 10 best hotel restaurants in Ireland. The staff was ever present and very friendly.
